I admit this one was easier than I intended when I rated it – somehow I didn’t realise that testing it using only easy maths logic with hard Sudoku logic didn’t make much sense, since you could just use slightly more complex maths logic to bypass the hard Sudoku logic! If that makes any sense. Obviously I was having a slow afternoon…

Thanks very much for buying the magazine! In a previous couple of issues a year or two ago we removed the 25×25s entirely and had just two 16×16s, and believe it or not there were enough complaints that we had to put them back in! I guess if you want these puzzles they’re pretty hard to find published elsewhere.

If you complete all of the rest of the puzzles that’s pretty good going!

I like killers, and this was a fun alternative. I completed it in a few minutes. Since only the “10″ value was added, I made that the single-digit Roman Numeral “X” to avoid writing in 2 values per square.

And speaking of double-digit values, I finally bit the bullet and bought your Sudoku Pro puzzle book. I had trouble in the past justifying not completing the 8 or so pages of 16×16 and 25×25 sudokus that I don’t like (OCD that I am). However, I get much enjoyment from the puzzles here and puzzlemix that I’ll throw some support your way. Cheers.

Yes, nice little twist having to get your brain used to different combinations of numbers, but as Andrew said it was pretty quick to solve. Thanks for all these new puzzles – a real change from the standard types.

I solved this one pretty quick – under ten minutes (didn’t time myself exactly), but I definitely enjoyed it. The 10×10 part wasn’t necessarily tough, but it did make for a nice change.

It’d be interesting to try a 10×10 Killer Pro puzzle.

And as for the single cages, I still think they are a little pointless , though I don’t really mind them. In this puzzle it seemed like there were a lot of them. Maybe I’m imagining this.

Regardless, I like it. Nice work.
